Whew... Roadshow over... Here comes the Sales

Hey People.. Just want to thank all the volunteers who came down to give a hand... and to my team members, thanks for exhausting yourselves and well, it was a treat! Anyways.. .we are conducting door-to-door sales this Saturday and Sunday... Drop us a mail with your name, NRIC, class, sch and contact number if youre interested. The details are as follows:

A charity event for MINDS, featuring live band performances, cosplay('costume' and 'roleplay') and manga-drawing competition. So what are you waiting for? Pick up your pencil and come down to scribble or... dress up in your favorite character and stand to win attractive prizes! The charity starts today!

regarding volunteer stuff. if you are reading this and you really feel that huge sense of compassion to help the people in MINDs (or even if you don't, but just want DOUBLE CIP points), just DROP ME A LINE. :D

our big upcoming event is of course the roadshow, i think Michelle posted up some stuff alr.

basically our roadshow's on 5th August, @ Vivocity Main entrance. There are 3 shifts to choose from 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, or 5pm-9pm.

Recording for our CD

Phew... the recording is finally done! It's been a really tiring week for our singers, Marcus Foong, Laramie and myself, who is also an event organiser. Thanks for the hard work, guys! Everyone's going to love our CDs. XD

It's been decided that the album will be called "Re:sounding", meaning "The reason for our music". Thanks to Mandy for coming up with the name, as well as doing our album art~ <3

MINDS (Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore) is one of the oldest and largest non-governmental organizations catering to the educational, vocational, social and welfare needs of the Intellectually Disabled in Singapore. They are concerned with the Integration of the Individual and Groups for the Abled and Disabled. They are currently serving around 2400 Intellectually Disabled persons.

Citibank-YMCA Youth For Causes, a community initiative by Citibank and the YMCA of Singapore, sponsored by the Citi Foundation, aims at being a catalyst to promote social entrepreneurship among youths in Singapore. The programme functions as a “social venture capital fund” to provide youth, aged 15 to 35 years of age, with seed funds of $1,600 and resources to execute creative ideas which they believe will benefit and support Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWO) of their choice.
